Once the first round of betting is complete the dealer deals three more cards face up on the table. These are called the flop and they can be used by all players. The betting continues in the same way as the first.
When betting comes around to you again, you can say “I open” if you want to bet more than the person before you. This is a good idea if you have a strong hand and know that it is likely to beat a weaker one.
If you have the best hand, then it’s time for the showdown. The final betting round takes place and the highest hand wins the pot.
